N2 Solutions (N2S), a leading supplier of nitrogen services to the energy, industrial and pipeline industries, has announced the acquisition of PFS Nitrogen Services (PFS), a nitrogen technology company supporting the pipeline and petrochemical industry.
N2S’ acquisition of PFS will expand the geographical landscape for both companies and add innovative technology to N2S’ line of nitrogen services and products, including pump trucks and nitrogen transports, nitrogen vaporizers, pig tracking and pipe freeze technology. N2S will now have four locations with three strategically located along the Gulf Coast, which will increase their footprint to deliver cost-effective nitrogen solutions.
Chad Hollier, Chairman of the Board, N2 Solutions, said, “We are excited to welcome PFS to the N2 Solutions family. The synergy with PFS provides an extension of our nitrogen services and an expansion of our fleet, which allows us to better support our current customers, while integrating additional capabilities and technology that will improve operational efficiencies.”
Headquartered in Petal, Mississippi, PFS has established a renowned reputation for over 30 years for its cutting-edge Pipe Freezing Services. Utilizing their exclusive technique, PFS leverages liquid nitrogen to create a secure and efficient ice plug within a pipe section, allowing for non-intrusive mechanical isolation. With this innovative approach, operators can effectively locate leaks on buried pipelines during hydrostatic testing and or allow for seamless piping repairs. Repairs are then made without the need for dewatering and refilling the pipe, leading to significant reductions in downtime.
PFS will be led by Kirk Clulee, who has been an integral part of PFS growth and success for over 5 years. Clulee will continue his oversight of the company’s operational, administrative, sales and marketing functions.
Clulee said, “The opportunity to join forces with a reputable company like N2 Solutions is truly exceptional, benefiting not only PFS, but also our valued customers in terms of expanded capabilities, improved logistics and increased efficiency.”
