Double E Pipeline, LLC is conducting a binding open season to secure long-term firm transportation commitments for new expansion capacity on its interstate natural gas system serving receipt and delivery points across the Permian Basin, including the Waha Hub, Transwestern Pipeline’s Central Pool, and Desert Southwest.
The project is designed to enhance takeaway capacity through additional mainline compression, providing a capital-efficient solution to increasing supply and growing demand for downstream market access.
Shippers are invited to submit bids for firm transportation service with flexible structuring across existing, proposed, and prospective receipt and delivery points.
Service features include:
• Long-term firm transportation (10-20 years)
• Access to multiple Permian Basin receipt points
• Delivery into key Waha-area interconnects
• Available near-term capacity paired with future expansion capacity

Project capacity is targeted for in-service in late 2028, subject to customary regulatory approvals and other conditions.
In order to participate, prospective shippers must execute a confidentiality agreement and submit a service request form, after which Double E will provide the required transaction documents.
