DESCRIPTION:We have assembled another incredible panel to update our members and guests about the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and its ongoing and future impacts to our industry.\n“The Inflation Reduction Act, One Year Later: What We Have Learned So Far” will be held on Thursday, July 25 from 4:30-7:30 PM at the Ralph S. O’Connor building at Rice University. 5th Floor\n\nOur friends at Burns & McDonnell are sponsoring and hosting the event. As always, we’ll have plenty of networking, food, and drinks, as well as a lively discussion about how the IRA has many in our industry scratching their heads. Navigating the murky and often turbulent waters of compliance to win bids, manage risks, and understand available project incentives can be daunting. This event is approximately one year after our initial panel discussion on this topic; this group will explore what we’ve earned so far about compliance and incentives and will explain how it matters to you.\nRGF Panelists Are:\nBen Hughes, Head of Government Programs, Worley\nShawn Daray, Associate, Jones Walker\nBrandon Mabile, Corporate Director: Business Development, Performance Contractors\nRegistration and networking will run from 4:30-5:30; the panel discussion and Q&A will run from 5:30 until 7:00, and we will close out the evening from 7:00-7:30.\nA reminder: your participation, sponsorships, and contributions help fund our partnership with Rice University and our continuing efforts to host conversations that drive our industry forward.
