SUMMARY:Register for the May Training Session Expander Plants, Condensate Stabilization & Fractionation May 7 by GPA Midstream
DESCRIPTION:Join us at 7:45 a.m. Wednesday, May 7th, at Kinder Morgan, Conference Room 1BCD, 1001 Louisiana St., Houston, TX 77002. Class registrants are responsible for parking.\nTRAINING PRICING\nIndividual Member: $148.50\nNon-Member: $165\nOwner/Operators that are Corporate Members: $0\nBreakfast will be provided. The cost also includes a ticket for the luncheon immediately following training.\nSPEAKER\nRalph Neumann – Midstream Process Engineering Consultant\nAGENDA\nHydrocarbon liquids (NGL) extraction is at the core of our midstream industry. In the next session of our Overview of Gas Processing Series, we examine the major technologies used to produce NGL from gathered feed streams.\nWe will look briefly at the renewed popularity of mechanical refrigeration plants.\nWe will compare various modern expander plant technologies including basic refluxed demethanizers and popular variations for ultra-high propane recovery during ethane rejection and ultra-high ethane recovery.\nWe will also look at trends in condensate stabilizer design as well as the principles of separation of NGL into various purity products at fractionation complexes like Mont Belvieu.\nThis session will conclude our 5-part training series on the Overview of Gas Processing! We will be back in the Fall with our next Houston GPA training sessions!\nRalph spent the early part of his career working for several firms in the engineering construction business, both internationally and domestically. He began as a process engineer specializing in natural gas processing and progressed to engineering management and project engineering roles. The next part of his career was spent working for natural gas processing operating companies where he managed both engineering and operations groups. Most recently, Ralph has held engineering and operations roles with several private equity-backed startup companies. He served as an instructor for John M. Campbell/PetroSkills, and he now consults in a practice that provides training, project management, and engineering services to the midstream industry.\n
