The speaker will be, The Scholarship Committee.\nAgenda:\nSocial Hour: 5:30 p.m.\nDinner: 6:30 p.m.\nProgram: 6:45 p.m.\nScholarship recipients acknowledgment\nImportant Notes about the June Meeting:\nThe meeting will be in person only\nMeeting will be cashless – all transactions at the door must be credit card\nScholarship Recipients do not need to register HOWEVER by May 28 they MUST RSVP to the Scholarship Committee at scholarship@houstonpipeliners.net\nSponsors and Guests cannot be included on the recipient’s RSVP\nSponsors and Guests must register for the meeting\nCash for bartender tips will be accepted\nEarly Registration ends May 24th, 2026\nRegular Registration ends May 31st, 2026\nLate Registration and In-Person Pay at the Door Registration is Monday June 1st, 2026\nIf you have a scholarship recipient that plans to attend the meeting, please ensure they RSVP by May 28 to the Scholarship Committee at scholarship@houstonpipeliners.net\nThe Pipeliners Association of Houston is partnering with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Alpha Alpha Eta Omega Chapter in Cypress, Texas to provide new or gently used children’s books to increase book ownership and literacy at their free community book fairs, Little Free Libraries, literacy corners in local barbershops, and monthly literacy outreach program that supplies families with free books and literacy resources.\nPlease help disrupt illiteracy by donating new or gently used children’s books at the meeting.\nThose who donate will receive one extra door prize ticket per book donated.\nAbout The Pipeliners Association of Houston:\nThe Pipeliners Association of Houston is a 501(c)(6) not-for-profit industry based pipeline professional organization, driven by our membership and member volunteers to lead our Industry. The means employed for the attainment of this purpose include, but are not limited to, meeting for the presentation of appropriate papers and discussion of items of general intent, as well as discussion of books, publications and other material. The Association shall be both non-profit and non-political in character but may cooperate in civic enterprises.\nHistory\nThe Pipeliners Association of Houston was formed in 1953 with the purpose to “foster and promote the advancement of pipeline engineering and operating practices for the mutual benefit of the members in the industry and to study and exchange knowledge and ideas relative to the pipeline industry.” The Association started with 6 members and continues to evolve and mature with our expanding network across the industry.\nOur organization prides itself on maintaining a common bond between vendors, operators and contractors who support this industry. Over the years, we have grown in our focus of community and professional development. Today, monthly business meetings provide relevant presentations and discussions about our industry. Our volunteers host events to raise scholarship money for our member’s college students. We established the Pipeliners Young Professionals group in 2016 to encourage and support our next generation.
