He has worked on several national security related projects and has held a Top Secret security clearance with the Department of Defense.\nAn influential thought leader on oil, gas and hydrogen strategic storage issues, Mike was appointed to the National Petroleum Council by the Secretary of Energy, is active in the Business Executives for National Security (BENS) and Co-Chair of their Energy Committee, the Atlantic Council, and the Solution Mining Research Institute (SMRI).
