Join us on March 13, 2026 at JA BizTown for an engaging and hands-on volunteer experience where students step into real-world roles such as business owners, bankers, and even mayor for the day.

As a volunteer, you’ll help guide students through a fast-paced and interactive learning environment as they connect classroom concepts with real-world financial and civic responsibilities.

What Students Experience

Throughout the day, students participate in activities that simulate running a real community. Volunteers assist as students:

• Open and manage bank accounts
• Apply for business loans
• Build and manage budgets
• Operate storefront businesses
• Write checks and use debit cards
• Interact with other businesses
• Vote for a mayor

It’s an exciting and rewarding experience for both students and volunteers, helping inspire the next generation of business and community leaders.

Volunteer Information

What to Wear: Business casual attire is recommended. Jeans and sneakers are welcome. Volunteers may spend time standing or bending while assisting students.
What to Bring: A valid photo ID is required for check-in through Junior Achievement’s Raptor Security system.
Meals: Volunteers should bring their own lunch. Breakfast items, coffee, and bottled drinks will be available throughout the day in the volunteer lounge.

Registration

Registration is required and must be completed by March 12, 2026.
Space is limited and walk-ins are not permitted.

All volunteers must also complete the required event waiver and volunteer registration prior to attending.
