GPA Midstream’s Analysis, Test Methods & Products Specifications Committee proudly manages and delivers the acclaimed School of Gas Chromatography—an intensive, hands-on training program designed for industry professionals.

The course runs Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

What You’ll Learn

This comprehensive program covers the fundamentals of gas and gas-liquid chromatography, along with an introduction to extended analysis. Designed for chromatograph operators, measurement technicians, and engineers, the curriculum combines lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on equipment operation.

Participants will analyze natural gas and natural gas liquid samples while gaining practical experience in chromatograph setup, operation, and interpretation.

Program Objectives

  • Teach GPA Midstream chromatography procedures and calculation methods through hands-on instruction
  • Demonstrate how to achieve accurate and reproducible analytical results
  • Provide foundational knowledge in chemistry, sampling, safety practices, and system components
  • Offer guidance on troubleshooting chromatography software and operations
  • Demonstrate laboratory concepts such as system non-linearity

Cancellations, Refunds & Transfers

Cancellations must be submitted in writing at least 30 days prior to the course start date to receive a refund, less a $100 cancellation fee. No refunds will be issued after this deadline.

Registrations may be transferred at no cost if requested in writing before the deadline. Transfers after the deadline are permitted with a $100 fee.
