2022 YPE South Texas Classic Charity Golf Tournament Nov 18th – San Antonio

“We are writing on behalf of the San Antonio Chapter of Young Professionals in Energy (YPE San Antonio). We are thrilled to be planning our 8^th annual YPE “South Texas Classic” Charity Golf Tournament, to be held on Friday, November 18, 2022 at the historic and beautiful Quarry Golf Club. We are excited to partner with the Quarry Golf Club once again, giving our sponsors and players the chance to enjoy such a beautiful course for the seventh consecutive year.

Through the generous support of our sponsors and members, YPE San Antonio raised nearly $28,000 last year and has raised just under $190,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters (“BBBS”) since our inaugural golf tournament in 2015. Our 2022 tournament will continue to benefit San Antonio’s own Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Texas, established to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one mentoring relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. For more than 100 years, “BBBS” has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. As the nation’s largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 6 through 18, in communities across the country. BBBS develops positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people. We are delighted to once again direct this year’s golf tournament proceeds to Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Texas.

By donating to our community’s youth charities through YPE San Antonio, your funds have a beneficial multiplying effect because the success of Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Texas events fosters the philanthropy and involvement of our young and active member base.

YPE is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2005 and has since expanded to create the San Antonio chapter. The San Antonio branch quickly grew to over 1,400 members, all young men and women who aim to facilitate the advancement of young professionals in the San Antonio and global energy industry by providing a forum for networking and career development through social, educational and civic service opportunities. YPE San Antonio focuses on raising funds for local charity organizations and using its member base for local volunteer opportunities.
