About the Meeting

Bakken API and the Minot Area Chamber EDC Energy Committee invite members and industry professionals to hear from Tyler Hamman of Base Electron about the company’s plans for the Missouri Bend Energy Center, a proposed 1,200-megawatt natural gas-fired power generation facility.

The facility is designed to deliver reliable electricity through a direct connection to the Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO) grid. Its planned capacity is intended to support industrial development in the region, including the data center campus under construction near Center, North Dakota, while adding dispatchable generation to help meet growing grid reliability needs.
