Event Overview

Join the Permian Basin Chapter of the American Petroleum Institute (API) for the 5th Annual Scholarship Clay Shoot at Windwalker Farms. This highly anticipated sporting event brings together API members, industry partners, and sponsors for a day of competition, networking, and philanthropy.

Proceeds from the event directly support college scholarships for deserving students from oilfield families across the Permian Basin. In 2026, the Chapter is committed to awarding up to 40 scholarships, each funded at up to $4,000 per year. Currently, more than 40 students are
benefiting from API scholarship support.

Prizes will be awarded to at least 1 in every 8 shooters. The event is open to participants 21 years of age and older.

Event Schedule & Rotations

Morning Rotation

• 7:30 AM – Registration
• 8:30 AM – Shoot Begins

Afternoon Rotation

• 10:30 AM – Registration
• 1:00 PM – Shoot Begins

Firearm giveaways for both rotations will take place during lunch.

Multiple sponsorship levels are available, offering excellent visibility and engagement opportunities. Sponsors will also receive priority mailing for entry forms to the Permian Basin API Golf Tournament at Hogan Park on May 7, 2026.

• Signage Sponsor – $10,000 (SOLD)
  Exclusive tournament signage branding, 4 teams, 6 carts,
  and 2 twelve-foot feather flags.
• Hat Sponsor – $10,000 (SOLD)
  Company logo embroidered on official tournament hats, 4 teams,
  6 carts, and 2 twelve-foot feather flags.
• Jacket & Shirt Sponsor – $10,000 (SOLD)
  Logo placement on tournament apparel, 4 teams,
  6 carts, and 2 twelve-foot feather flags.

• Platinum Sponsor – $5,000
  3 teams (4 shooters each) and 6 carts with full recognition.
• Gold Sponsor – $4,000
  2 teams and 4 carts with event-wide recognition.
• Golf Cart Sponsor – $2,500
  Logo displayed on all tournament carts, 1 team and 2 carts included.
• Silver Sponsor – $2,000
  1 team of 4 shooters (carts not included).
• Station Sponsor – $1,000
  Logo displayed at shooting station, option to purchase a team for $800.
  Sponsors may host their station with snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, and company swag.
