Join the Louisiana Pipeliners Association for the 13th Annual Fishing Rodeo, a multi-day event bringing together industry professionals for friendly competition, networking, and community support. This annual event raises funds for scholarships while celebrating the strong connections within the pipeline and energy industries.

All Fishing Rodeo events will take place at the Jefferson Parish Tarpon Rodeo Pavilion, located directly behind the Grand Isle Marina (formerly Sand Dollar Marina).

Important: This is a private event for members and registered participants only. The event is closed to the public. Participant bracelets are required for entry to all activities.

Shrimp or Crawfish Boil & Social

Enjoy an evening of food, drinks, and music while reconnecting with colleagues and friends. Please RSVP to Lee Womack by April 20, 2026.

Friday, May 1
Fishing Rodeo Registration
2:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Participants must complete registration and submit all required release forms by 8:00 PM. Teams that do not complete registration by this deadline will not be eligible to weigh in their catch.

6th Annual Cornhole Tournament
Registration: 4:00 PM
Tournament Start: 5:00 PM
Entry Fee: $50

Participants may register for the cornhole tournament during Fishing Rodeo registration.

Saturday, May 2
Fishing Tournament & Weigh-In

Weigh-In Times: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Participants must be in line by 4:00 PM to weigh their catch.

Awards Ceremony: 5:00 PM

Tournament Format

This event follows a poker-style tournament format. Each team captain will receive a poker chip marked with their team number. The captain is responsible for placing the chip in the bucket for the category in which their team is competing.

Teams may enter only one category, with the exception of Offshore teams, which may compete in all Offshore categories. Offshore participants may not enter Inshore categories.

Please note that the Spotted Seatrout (Speckled Trout) bag limit and size requirements, as well as the Cobia bag limit and per-boat limit, have changed for the 2025 fishing season. All participants must comply with current Louisiana state fishing regulations.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Support the Louisiana Pipeliners Association scholarship program while showcasing your company through one of several sponsorship opportunities. Sponsorships are available on a first-come, first-served basis, though returning sponsors will have first right of refusal.

Operator Sponsorship (Locked)
Reserved for operators such as pipeline, production, and drilling companies. Contact the organizers for pricing and details.

Facility Sponsor – $3,000
Includes three fishing teams and company logo displayed on event banners.

Gold Sponsor – $2,000
Includes two fishing teams, company logo on event shirts, and recognition on banners.

Silver Sponsor – $1,500
Includes one fishing team, company logo on giveaway neck gaiters, banner recognition, and the option to provide merchandise for participant gift buckets.

Shrimp or Crawfish Boil Sponsor – $1,500
Includes one fishing team and company recognition on event banners.

Trophy Sponsor (Locked) – $1,000
Includes one fishing team and company logo displayed on tournament trophies.

Hospitality Sponsor – $800
Includes one fishing team and one cook spot. Due to limited space, please contact event organizers to coordinate cooking areas.

General Sponsor – $500
Company logo included on event banner and recognition during the awards ceremony.

Fishing Team Entry – $500

Raffle tickets are available for $5 each.
