The International Pipeline Conference & Expo (IPCE) is the world’s premier technical conference for the pipeline industry, bringing together more than 1,300 delegates from over 44 countries, including leading researchers, engineers, operators, and industry professionals.

Since 1996, IPCE has been recognized for delivering nearly 300 peer-reviewed technical papers, fostering knowledge exchange, and providing exceptional networking opportunities across the global pipeline community.

Session Aide Shift Times

  • AM Shift: 7:00 AM – 12:30 PM
  • PM Shift: 12:00 PM – 5:30 PM

About the Role

Session Aides are essential volunteers who support the successful execution of IPCE’s technical sessions, tutorials, and panel discussions.

  • Session Support: Assist with room setup, attendee check-in, and session logistics
  • Technical Assistance: Support presenters with A/V equipment, transitions, and timing
  • Attendee Services: Provide guidance, answer questions, and enhance the attendee experience
  • Networking: Connect with industry leaders and professionals from around the world

Application Process

  • Application Submission: Complete and submit the volunteer application form
  • Review & Shortlisting: Applications are evaluated based on availability and conference needs
  • Volunteer Offers: Selected applicants receive an official offer via email
  • Training & Onboarding: Mandatory orientation sessions are conducted prior to the event
  • Conference Participation: Volunteers support sessions during the conference

  • Selection is based on availability, timing, and staffing requirements
  • Some benefits require a minimum of 1.5 days of volunteer service
  • Timely response to offer emails is required to confirm participation
  • Attendance at mandatory training and onboarding sessions is required
  • Volunteers must attend breakfast on the day of their shift, regardless of shift time
  • Failure to respond or attend required sessions may result in cancellation
