Register now for the American Petroleum Institute API 2025 PIX Pipeline Information eXchange November 4 – November 5, 2025 – Houston

November 4–5, 2025 — JW Marriott Houston Downtown, Houston, TX
Overview
As with prior annual events, PIX provides a unique forum for pipeline operators to openly share information and lessons learned across a broad range of topics, including pipeline system incidents, near misses, industry best practices, lessons learned, and improvements made to pipeline safety programs through practical experiences.
The pipeline industry has a strong culture of sharing lessons from incidents, near misses, and process improvements. In support of our steadfast commitment to safety, PIX is held each year to share experiences with the aim of preventing similar incidents. API and LEPA have issued a Guide to Sharing and a Guide to Learning to facilitate greater sharing and incorporation of lessons learned to improve pipeline and personnel safety and operational reliability. Please review these guidelines and consider sharing your company’s experiences to promote industry-wide learning.
Please Note: The PIX on November 5 is for pipeline operating company representatives only. The workshop on November 4 is open to all interested participants.

Workshop (Nov 4)
API is sponsoring a separate half-day pipeline safety workshop on the afternoon of November 4, 2025 from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm at the JW Marriott Houston Downtown. The workshop focuses on a review of the draft second edition of API RP 1183 (Assessment and Management of Dents in Pipelines).
(New Preliminary agenda) API to Host Facility Integrity Management Workshop at 2025 PIX
On November 4, API will host a dedicated workshop in Houston, TX focused on Facility Integrity Management for liquid pipeline facilities. The session will bring together operators and industry experts to share best practices, discuss challenges, and explore opportunities for continuous improvement. The workshop will be held at the JW Marriott hotel in downtown Houston. While recent data shows a downward trend in facility-related incidents, the workshop aims to address remaining gaps and strengthen integrity management programs as the industry deepens its understanding of release causes and approaches to preventing them from occurring.
