To Our Potential Golf Tournament Sponsors:
Williams invites you to join us at our annual golf tournament benefitting United Way of Greater Houston. As you are aware, United Way of Greater Houston brings people together to make sure everyone in our community has an opportunity to thrive. From helping people meet their basic needs, like food and shelter, to supporting their efforts to become self-sufficient and financially stable, United Way is here. United Way is a symbol of hope, an agent of change, a leader, a convener, and the one organization working to improve the quality of life for everyone in our region. Last year, United Way improved the lives of nearly 2 million of our neighbors in the Greater Houston area.
Williams also has a great tradition of giving back to our neighbors, and our annual United Way campaign is key to our Core Value of being responsible stewards to our communities. Williams believes that supporting the United Way is an effective and efficient way to financially support the organizations that are focused on meeting some of our country’s most pressing needs – education, health, and financial security. United Way, through its well-organized volunteer network, does the hard work of making sure that our donations are well spent in the community and that the dollars raised are supporting those who need it most. AND, The Williams Foundation will match dollar-for-dollar our net proceeds, up to $100,000!
